About Us

Custom Performance Innovations was founded in May 2005.  The founder, Jack, began turning wrenches and modifying cars with his Father (a Journeyman machinist) over 30 years ago. Since that time, he received professional training in the Marine Corps on gas and diesel engines, standard and cross-drive transmissions, hydraulics, and suspensions systems for ground combat equipment. On the commercial side, he was a certified technician for Nissan specializing in engine and transmission overhauls. He earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland in Technology Management, is certified in Cost Estimating and Analysis, and works with DOD to develop life cycle support strategies for complex ground combat equipment.

 

At CPI, our passion is performance – from the first 56 Chevy to the current BMW M3, and everything in-between – nothing escapes the need for better performance. We have the ability and knowledge to support everything we sell. We know that many enthusiasts install their parts in the evening and on the weekend. Our customers can reach us Monday through Saturday by phone or email to answer their questions, listen to comments, or ask advice regarding their latest performance project. On occasion, we have emailed pictures or video instructions to customers in the middle of a project.
